What a Monday...

A lot of walking, sightseeing (butterflies, squirrels, fishes, plants, trees, water/h2o, paintings, allergies, wasp, honey bees, etc. but no ants!), and standing at The Huntington.

4/Four Meals!

Yesterday, your hungry insect ate four/4 meals (big oatmeal breakfast + small lunch + small Japanese dinner + 1 banana late at night).

Recent (Insect/Bug)s Sightseeings Around The Nest

A grasshopper/locust and a big Katydid under the nest's shade. It wasn't scared of any ants (tiny and >5'), but did get scared so it wouldn't get crushed by accident.

Accidental oversleeping sucks...

... by about 35 minutes. At least seven/7 hours of total sleep happened after passing out during the belated job search. :P Today will be a somewhat BUSY day.

Too many...

... Costco's pizza slices for today. The honeypot sized abdomen is fat and annoyed. :P

Not looking old.

During an estate sale outdoor earlier today, some young guy with a broken arm thought this ant was not that old after guessing a few times (thought 20s at (1/fir)st)). Also, he noticed the old Digg shirt.

Ew, dead dry animals.

Why would people want them? Alive is understandable, but dead and dry? :/

The queen ant ...

... said "I'm missing my soap opera" a few minutes ago. :P

Ouch.

After this ant got the colony's snail mails, a huge brown locust/grasshopper did a giant jump but it crashed into the nest's wall hard. There were very strong winds. LOL! Too bad it wasn't recorded an

Ant's high blood pressures...

Bah, this borrowed expensive (about 3,000 bucks?!) SunTech Medical's Oscar 2 24-Hr ABPM (ambulatory blood pressure monitor) still shows (higher number/#)s than the home devices.

Sheesh, what a working day...

Today was a "work" day for computer tasks with family members. :/

All snail mails were for Ant today.

Wow, that never happened before in this ant colony. Bah to one of them that expired for being late. :(

A flying worker honey bee!

Here is a blurry shot of her over the camera as of 1:30:14 PM PDT.

A Sunrise!

Your unemployed ant hasn't seen that for months since getting laid off. :D

Anyways, back to sleep after only getting less than three/3 hours of sleep after passing out after 1:38 AM PDT. :P

Blah!

Ant is feeling a little sick/ill even after sleeping a lot (hibernation) overnight. Did spread a virus from yesterday's Easter 2015 service? :(

ant's picture

Finally!

The colony went back to church physically after a few months. Today's service was outdoor for Easter 2015. It was a bit warm under God's sun, but He provided the good cool winds, cold water (h2o) to drink and get baptized in, clouds, music, sermon, etc.

Outside work again...

This insect is hotty and sweaty again. It was windy outside too!

Wow, early for a Good Fri(day)!

After yesterday's sleepless night (kept waking up every hour or so) due to coughs, gel in mouth, etc., your tired insect passed out after 10:57 PM PDT last night during the nightly job searches and then finally woke up (woke up a few times through the night) before 9:00 AM PDT (even beat the vibrator alarm by about 15 minutes too).

ant's picture

It is too early!

Bah, your workerless ant is not used to these early wake ups like the old working days. Also, it doesn't help not being able to sleep early (kept waking up too) after 1:15 AM PDT.

Ant's left butt(ock) hurts...

... since waking up before 11:11:11:11 AM PDT this mawning. :(
