... but your BUSY worker ant is glad to in the cool office.
Itchy, sneezy, itchy, crappy, achy teethy, etc. Bah to lame life again. Argh. :(
Quoted by Confucius in one of my new work e-mails a few minutes ago.
Mostly a good and relaxing weekend (except being hot and loud at the end). :/
Blue's News mentioned a sale and free weekend (ends on Sunday at 1:00 PM PDT) of Mount & Blade: Warband game (Linux friendly too!) on Steam. Your mostly retired gamer had some free time (amazing) on a peaceful half CATurday (cooler temperatures), Home Alone, to retry it. Well, retry because this gamer played the original game back in 2008 during the eviction/after being evicted from the old nest. The game's download and install sizes weren't big at all (under 900 MB on the old school hard disk drive (HDD)). It helped to be distracted during its wait like taking a quick belated cool shower to cool off from the heat wave.
Crazy life again. Not a good way to end the weekend since today sucked and was tiring (did not get to rest, hibernate, nap, etc.). :(
(Thanks God It's Thursday) again, and another long weekend soon (thanks USA (United States of America)!). ;)
Yesterday was crazy with your old overlord's bladder. Almost all day had to (urinat/pe)e! Oh well, at least it wasn't pooping like sometimes.
... are becoming BUSY days and not for resting, still sick (had diarrhea this mawning), God's church, :)ness, etc. This mawning was crazy since after 6:00 AM PDT due to tech(nical) support, angry people, unexpectations, no church, no rest, etc.
That is what your overlord thought the queen ant said due to World Cup fever going on. No, she said "Did you wash the big pot?" Oops. :D
This old worker ant passed out after 9:37 PM PDT last night. :( How about sleeping forever? :P
Life is once again crazy as crap. Last week's was mostly good, but not this week's. :(
Almost 1.5 days of time off to go to Ant's very (fir/1)st E3, hanging out with a former college/university and local roommate/friend after almost 1.5 years (too long!) and looking the six/6 years old broken lap(py/top)/notebook, resting a lot (hibernated almost 10.5 hours overnight with 2/two(?) quick wake up breaks, Los Angeles (L.A.). Kings' win (care not for hockey too), work was quiet/light from Monday to Wednesday, etc.
Finally as of yesterday afternoon! Your old school gamer finally went to an Electronic Entertainment Expo(sition) [E3] after wanting to go after many years and almost went to last year's (darn new boss/supervisor and company/employer's reorganization/layoff). Also, not really gaming these days (does Rbot's turned based text based games (e.g., Uno) still count?). Departure to leave was delayed about an hour due to WorkerAnt's co(worker/lleague)/buddy's meeting delay (late lunch and start). At about 2:00 PM PDT, it was time to hit the road to the local Metro's train station to get $1.50 tickets (one way for about 30 minutes and cheap!) and Los Angeles (L.A.). This was also the (1/fir)st time on these trains. The last rides were probably back in the (19)80s in Pennsylvania (PA) with the queen ant. Finally, it was time to walk down to Los Angeles (L.A.) Convention Center. It has been about 11/eleven years since last being in there for a job fair before joining the same company as now.
Too much (pee/urinat)ing since about 8:00 PM PDT last night. Did not sleep well. Oh well, TGIF but BUSY weekend again. :(
Come on, use GB! Who really wants to make MB sizes? Earlier, Worker Ant accidently made 40 megabytes (MB) partition/drive on a 80 gigabytes (GB) hard disk drive (HDD). Microsoft, improve your installers!
Life is screwy again as usual. Will it get worse? [sighs] :(
It has been over 1.5 years since your favorite ant saw/watched a new movie release in a theater, but finally its record was broken with the latest X-Men movie: Days of Future Past as a private screening (yay, no noisy and annoying people like children/kids). Also, your insect overlord got to see it for free (also a free drink, popcorns, a shirt, and poster) and hours early (e.g., 2/two hours before the east coasters) as a team bonding event from work. It is weird that this viewing had no trailers! Just straight to the movie. :O Your superhero comics fan is not a fan of this Marvel series, but was interested and already saw all the previous X-Men movies (did not see the (seco/2)nd Wolverine movie though). It was quite good, but not awesome. It was the best over all of X-Men movies and better than X-Men: First Class. 7/10.
"Chairman of the Bored." --DSL/Broadband Reports. Your worker ant would like to be that chairman to do other fun stuff. [grin]
